The GE Fanuc 90-30 module with directory number IC693CPU351 is part of the modular CPU subclass. The CPU is designed for applications that require higher complexity, faster processing speed, and support for large amounts of I/O. The module is a single slot CPU module designed to be mounted onto a 5 – or 10-slot CPU backboard. The IC693CPU351 supports a large number of I/ OS, especially 2048 discrete input points (%I). 2048 discrete output points (%Q) and analog I/O words, depending on the software used, however, each has a maximum configurable analog I/O of 32, 640 words. The number of other internal registers available for this CPU includes 1280 bits of binary global memory; 4096-bit memory coil; 256-bit temporary output coil; 128-bit system status reference; Up to 32,640 words of register memory and 28,000 words of system register for viewing reference tables only. The modular CPU can be configured to communicate and perform I/O data exchange between I/O expansions or remote I/O backboards. Specifically, seven (7) and/or I/O expansion or remote I.O baseboards. For communication with visualization systems such as Human Machine Interface (HMI) or Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems (SCADA) and other automation devices, the IC693CPU351 provides three (3) serial ports. One (1) serial port is located on a power connector that supports SNP/SNPX slave stations, while ports 1 and 2 support RTU slave stations and SNP/SNPX master/slave protocols.
