IS200ERDDH1ABA|Excitation regulator dynamic discharge board
The IS200ERDDH1A model is part of the EX2100 series and is a driver regulator dynamic discharge board. The ERDD model has two modes of operation: simplex and redundancy. Each application pattern is used differently and is mounted differently.
When the IS200ERDDH1A is used in simplex mode, the model controls the K3 charging relay; When the board is used in redundancy mode, it will control the K41 deexcitation relay. When running in simplex mode, the IS200ERDDH1A is installed in the ERBP backplane. When running in redundancy mode, two ERDD models must be used, one installed in the same location as the model in simplex mode. The other board will be installed in the ERRB backplane.
Another function of the board is to provide feedback from the bridge to observe the output field and DC link voltage. While monitoring these, the board also allows observation of the output shunt current, IGBT gate drive state, and bridge temperature. The IS200ERDDH1A board is usually used to control excess DC bus voltage by dynamic discharge of the model.
