The IS200TBCIS2CCD is a multi-purpose, high-capacity 24 VDC, 300 watt power supply manufactured by GE Fanuc for the RX7i series. It offers a maximum output of up to 300 watts, operates at 18 to 30 VDC and requires forced air cooling.
The power module provides sequencing signals of logic levels for the RX7i backplane module. It also provides protection against overvoltage failure conditions, overcurrent and overtemperature.
The supply of cold air is facilitated by a powerful tray fan, which forces air into the engine of the power supply. The fan is installed at the bottom of the rack. The IS200TBCIS2CCD also has an air flow sensor that can detect fan failure or air obstruction. If the power supply senses any disruption in airflow, it responds by turning off all outputs and turning on the overheat LED indicator (red). When the internal temperature drops to the working level, the power supply automatically recovers from the situation.
The three leds of the IS200TBCIS2CCD module work in conjunction with the air flow sensor. Green OUTPUT OK indicates that all three DC output channels are operating within the specified range. It will only shut down if one of the three DC output channels fails. A red OVER TEMP LED will alert the user if the critical supply gas temperature exceeds its limit or the airflow sensor detects an interruption in airflow.
